Welcome to the ectarc website. On this site you will find a wealth of information about living and working in Europe and coming to the UK to improve your English and gain work experience in Wales via the Leonardo da Vinci programme and other EU initiatives. Be sure to download our newsletters to keep up to date about the opportunities we have to offer. 

ectarc was established in 1988 and is considered one of the UK's leading organisations in international mobility. Our main area of focus is the EU's Lifelong Learning programme which includes Leonardo da Vinci and Erasmus. These provide funding for language learning and work experience in a variety of European countries. ectarc's Grundtvig courses, also EU funded, offer training in EFL teaching methodology. We also provide language and culture courses for groups. This website will help you to find out more about becoming involved in ectarc's programmes as a participant, a work placement provider or a host family.
