What is the Leonardo Work Experience Programme?

Leonardo da Vinci is the European Union's vocational training programme.

It is designed to build a skilled, mobile European workforce and funds work placements and language courses abroad. ectarc works with many institutions around Europe that send and receive groups of participants to study languages and gain work experience in their own field of employment, training or study.

Who is the programme for?

The Leonardo da Vinci Outward programme is for people who are aged 18 and above, who live, work or study in Wales and are citizens of an EU member state. For details please visit the 'Working Abroad' section.

The Leonardo da Vinci Inward programme is for students, graduates and professionals from other European countries who want to spend some time in Wales to learn English and have a work experience placement in their own field of expertise or training.
